TINTON FALLS, NJ, July 7, 2015– World Insurance Associates LLC, an independent insurance agency, announces the formation of the National Accounts Division. The unit will be launched with 30 accounts from an existing book of business serving a wide range of industries.
The National Accounts Division will report to Greg Kroeger and Ed Wargins, Principals of World Insurance Associates. Members of this new unit include recent hires Ray Vaughn, Bill Redmond, and Matt Morris. The National Accounts Division is supported by the claims department and 14 commercial lines staff members.
Greg Kroeger joined World Insurance Associates from American Truck Insurance Exchange, which he co-founded in 2009. Mr. Kroeger has over 20 years of commercial insurance experience, including six years at HUB International, where he was First Vice President, and 10 years managing his own agencies. Prior to HUB, Mr. Kroeger was the co-owner of C.S. Nenner, Inc., an independent agency with $30 million in premiums, specializing in insurance and risk management solutions for the transportation industry.
Ed Wargins joined World Insurance Associates from E&S Insurance Agency, Inc., where he was the President and founder of the agency. Mr. Wargins has 15 years of experience as an insurance producer and agency owner. Prior to founding E&S in 2005, Mr. Wargins was a producer at HUB International from 2002 until 2005. In 2002, HUB acquired Mr. Wargins’ employer, C.S. Nenner, Inc.
Ray Vaughn joins World Insurance Associates with over 39 years of experience and a wide range of knowledge in designing and implementing risk management programs for the larger commercial insurance marketplace. Typical programs include retrospective plans, large deductible plans, and self-funded approaches to the transfer of risk. Previously, Mr. Vaughn served as President and Chief Operating Officer for a large New Jersey broker.
Bill Redmond joined World Insurance Associates from Krauter and Company where he served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Krauter, Mr. Redmond was the founder of William J. Redmond and Associates, Inc., a commercial lines Insurance Broker. After 19 years, Redmond and Associates was acquired by Bollinger Inc. in 2007. As Vice President of Bollinger, Mr. Redmond continued to produce and service national accounts in numerous industries. Bill Redmond has over 40 years of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance business, having held positions in national accounts underwriting and brokerage.
Matt Morris joined World Insurance Associates from Wells Fargo Insurance Services where he worked as an Account Executive on a book of approximately $25 million in annual premiums. Mr. Morris has over 12 years of commercial insurance experience serving a wide range of middle market, upper middle market, and national size accounts. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Morris acted as an Account Executive/Sales Executive at Frenkel & Company.
