Rich Eknoian

CEO, Partner

Rich is a co-founder of World Insurance Associates. He has spent over 20 years in the insurance industry. Before joining World, he was the CFO of a Top 50 insurance broker in the U.S. Prior to that, he was a sell-side merger and acquisition advisor in the insurance brokerage industry. He is a Villanova University graduate with a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation. Mr. Eknoian has an MBA from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Phil Nisbet

Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, Partner

Philip Nisbet co-founded World Insurance Associates LLC after a successful two year effort to purchase a community bank. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Middletown, NJ-based Colonial American Bank. With Richard Eknoian, Mr. Nisbet manages finance for World Insurance Associates LLC with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Philip has 20 years experience at global banks in securities lending, derivatives and commercial real estate “REO” capacities, including Barclays Capital, Inc., Citibank and Merrill Lynch

Greg Kroeger


Greg Kroeger is a co-founder of World Insurance Associates. He has over 15 years of commercial insurance experience, including six years at HUB International, where he was First Vice President, and ten years managing his own agencies. Mr. Kroeger was previously the co-founder of American Truck Insurance Exchange and co-owner of C.S. Nenner, Inc., an independent agency with $30 million in premiums, specializing in transportation and warehousing coverage for trucking businesses.

Ed Wargins


Edward Wargins co-founded World Insurance Associates after founding E&S Insurance Agency, Inc. (E&S), where he was President. Mr. Wargins has 12 years of experience as an insurance producer and agency owner. Prior to founding E&S in 2005, Mr. Wargins was a producer at HUB International from 2002 until 2005. In 2002, HUB acquired Mr. Wargins’ employer, C. S. Nenner, Inc.

Mark Lauria, ARM


Mark Lauria began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual in 1967 as a Sales Representative. He left to head up sales in 1969 for captive agent Allstate. During this time he felt very strongly that there was a better way to service a customer. In 1979 he and his wife Laura Lauria co-founded Mark Lauria Associates Inc. In 2004 a second agency was formed in Red Bank, NJ. Today, after 32 years they have a reputation for being the agency where things get done correctly and great effort is taken to offer the best protection to the customer.

Mark holds an Associate in Risk Management from The Insurance Institute of America.

Jeffrey P. Deldin, CPCU, AFSB


Mr. Deldin is the former President of Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates, Inc. based in Brewster, NY. He began his surety career in 1990 and became a surety bond broker and construction insurance broker in 1995.

Mr. Deldin received his B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Connecticut. He sits on various agency council boards with key insurance carriers. Jeff is involved with local, regional, and national construction trade organizations as well as insurance and bond associations. He has also served as a member of the ABC-CT Board of Directors for 12 years.

James Hickey

Partner, President of Personal Lines

Mr. Hickey is the former President of Links Insurance Services, which he started in 2001. He grew Links Insurance to 40 employees by 2019 when it was acquired by World Insurance Associates. Jim has been a top commercial and personal lines producer for the past 15 years and has guided the company to 18 years of year-over-year growth.

Alex Miller

Partner, Director of PEO Benefits

Alex began his insurance career in 1995 with Empire BlueCross BlueShield (Anthem). There he rose to Senior Sales of Large Groups. In 1998, he founded Millennium Medical Solutions Corp., a group employee benefits and PEO agency. Alex joins World Insurance Associates as Partner and Director of PEO Benefits.

Alex is a resident of Westchester, married to Lee Miller, and father of 3 children. He is an active member in his community, serving on school board and volunteer for meals on wheels. He is an avid swimmer, kayaker, ranked backgammon player, and long-time suffering Jets fan.

Alex holds a Bachelors in Science in Business, Management & Finance from Brooklyn College and a Bachelors in Science in General Science (Pharmacy) from Long Island University. He is a noted blogger and is passionate about his craft.

Frank Costa, CIC, CRM

Principal, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Costa founded an independent insurance agency in 1989 and successfully grew the firm to merge with a Tri-State independent agency in 2001. Following years of agency management, new client development, and sales management, Frank led the Middle Market and Small Commercial Divisions at Frenkel & Company from 2008-2017. Mr. Costa and his team grew the Division to 2,600 commercial insurance clients representing over $80 million in annual premium.

Frank is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and frequent speaker on various risk management topics. Along with BA in Accounting, Frank has completed extensive post graduate work in organizational behavior and management.

Liz Tluchowski

Chief Information Officer
Chief Information Security Officer

Ms. Tluchowski is an accomplished IT Insurance Executive with 30 years' experience skilled at leading the development, delivery, and support of effective insurance services systems and architectures. She is responsible for the strategic and tactical management and implementation of all security, automation, and transactional processes within World.

Ms. Tluchowski earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Psychology from Villanova University and a CIO/MBA from Boston University - School of Management. She is an active member of several Insurance Technology related groups.

Michele Stoebling

Human Resources Officer

Ms. Stoebling is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Prior to joining World Insurance Associates, she spent 15 years at CLG/Acrisure managing the Employee Benefits and Human Resources Division.

Michele earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Certification in Human Resource Studies from the NY State School of ILR at Cornell University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and holds insurance licenses in health and life in the state of New Jersey.

Jeff Kroeger

Principal, SVP, Head of Commercial Lines

 Jeff Kroeger joined World Insurance in June 2012 to manage the Company’s hospitality book of business and he is also that unit’s primary producer. Prior to joining World Insurance, he was a senior claims adjuster at Mercury Insurance Group.  

A resident of Hoboken, NJ and son of World Insurance Associates’ partner Greg Kroeger, Jeff Kroeger is a graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in criminal justice and a minor in business administration.

Terence Gorman

Managing Director, Employee Benefits Division

Prior to joining World Insurance, Terence worked with large market groups, 5,000+ employees, designing, underwriting and implementing their employee benefits programs. Throughout his career, he has helped multiple organizations and their employees save hundreds of millions of dollars, while improving plan efficiencies and increasing employee satisfaction.

Olivia Campaniolo, CPA, CGMA, PSA, MBA

Director of Finance

Olivia is an experienced CPA with a background in both public and private sectors, ranging numerous industries from commercial, financial services, government, to not-for-profit. While in public accounting, Olivia dedicated her career to working with her clients and peers to achieve goals, building relationships, and enhancing work quality.

Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees both with a concentration in Accounting from Montclair State University. She is an active member of the AICPA and NJCPA and currently serves on the Morris/Sussex chapter board of the NJCPA as its Treasurer. While not working, Olivia volunteers her time with several organizations. She is also an avid dog lover.

Jennifer D'Agostino

Director of Marketing

Jennifer D'Agostino joined the World Insurance Associates team in March of 2014 and is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all the organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey, with concentrations in management and marketing. She is passionate about digital and print marketing and is experienced in HTML, CSS, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Jennifer D'Agostino is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
